Turnarounds, outages & large projects

Planning something bigger than a crew of two?

Scoped work runs differently from a day-labor order. Give us the scope, the craft mix, the headcount by trade, the shift pattern and your window, and a coordinator will stage the crew and put a hands-on overseer on site to run it. Send it as early as you have it — the further ahead we see an outage, the more of the bench we can hold for you.

  • Scope, dates and shift pattern
  • Headcount broken out by craft
  • Site access and credential requirements
  • Duration and expected extensions

Standard crew request? Use the regular work order — it takes a couple of minutes. Office hours are Monday–Friday, 7am–5pm.

Why staff regionally

What a locally headquartered firm changes

No travel or per diem premium on regional work

Crews staffed from inside the CSRA live here. On regional assignments you are not paying travel time, mileage or per diem to get people to a site that is twenty minutes from their house.

A local bench, not a national call centre

Our office is in Aiken and the people you talk to know the roads, the plants and the difference between a job in Graniteville and one in Waynesboro. You are not routed through a national queue.

Workers who already have the local credentials

Site access in this region is credential-heavy. Sourcing from people who already work these sites is faster than badging in a travelling crew from out of state.

Nationwide reach when the job needs it

For shutdowns and turnarounds beyond what the local bench covers, our travelling crews deploy nationwide. The regional bench and the travelling crews are the same company and the same coordinator.

Sectors we staff here

The region’s industrial base

Federal & nuclear operations

The federal nuclear complex spread across Aiken, Barnwell and Allendale counties covers more than 300 square miles and anchors the region's economy. Work on and around sites like it runs on scheduled outages, maintenance campaigns and construction phases — which is exactly the kind of work that needs crews assembled quickly and cleared to be on site.

Power generation

Burke County, Georgia holds the largest nuclear generating capacity in the country, and the region carries conventional generation and transmission work alongside it. Generation work is outage-driven: long quiet stretches, then a compressed window where headcount matters more than anything.

Pulp, paper & specialty chemicals

The Savannah River corridor has carried pulp, paper and chemical processing for generations. These are continuous-process plants — they run around the clock and shut down deliberately, so maintenance and turnaround labor is a permanent feature rather than an occasional need.

Advanced manufacturing

Aiken County's industrial corridor along Sage Mill has drawn substantial tire, automotive and component manufacturing investment, with more capacity still being built. Manufacturing carries steady production labor plus periodic install, changeover and expansion work.

Data center construction

Large-scale data center projects are under construction in Aiken County, with further development moving through Graniteville and the surrounding area. These are construction projects first and operations sites second — the labor demand is front-loaded into the build.

Distribution & warehousing

The I-20 and I-520 corridors through Augusta and Aiken County carry regional distribution. Warehouse work here is year-round with seasonal peaks, and it is often the fastest way into steady hours for someone new to the workforce.

Healthcare & institutional

Augusta's medical district is one of the largest employment concentrations in the region, and the Army's cyber installation southwest of the city adds a substantial institutional footprint. Both generate ongoing facilities, grounds, construction support and event labor.

Employer questions

Working with us on a project

Do you cover both South Carolina and Georgia?
Yes. We staff both sides of the Savannah River as one market — Aiken County, Barnwell County and the SC side, plus Richmond, Columbia and Burke counties in Georgia. Our office is in Aiken, so regional work is local work for us.
How fast can you fill a role?
Turnaround depends on the trade, headcount, and jobsite location — tell us your scope and dates and your coordinator will give you a specific timeline.
Is there a minimum order?
No — we staff anything from a single worker for one shift to a full crew on an ongoing project.
Who handles payroll, taxes and workers' comp?
We do. We handle payroll, employment taxes, unemployment and I-9 compliance for every worker we place, and our workers are covered by our workers' compensation and liability insurance, reducing your risk.
What is the replacement guarantee?
If a worker isn't the right fit, call us and we'll send a replacement — fast. We stand behind every placement.
How does invoicing work?
Simple weekly invoicing for the hours worked — no hidden surprises.
